I’m actually not totally against the adds on my blog site. I did post a while back a article on how to block ad’s using a Firefox extension and got a snappy e-mail from the today.com crew telling me to stop bitching about it and to realize that my site makes money based on adds so it’s all about the adds. PLUS they started putting ads up that are really relevant to what I’m talking about. I love Lenovo computers and I think they are a FANTASTIC choice for a laptop since they are very sturdy and great performers. They aren’t exactly shiny or flashy but they sure as hell get the job done.

So I just ordered a new monitor. 22″ acer with a 2ms response time. I have been meaning to get a second 22″ because I have been using one 22″ and a 15″  laptop screen. They both run the same resolution but when put side by side it’s not a very smooth transition when multitaking and it’s quite anoying. So I traded my EeePc to my parent’s for a docking station for my ThinkPad t61p and a second monitor. My mom is goign to use it for work since her boss doesn’t have internet but she works downtown in the city and should be able to find a unprotected network somewhere. I’ll be sure to post some pictures when I’m done with the setup. It will probably be monday or tuesday which I can’t wait for. Oh I also used the money I got from blogging to buy a USB mouse. I have a bluetooth mouse and a usb laser mouse already but I used this same mosue at my girlfriends house and also a few other friends had one so I HAD to get it I liked it so much. The connection is a lot stronger so it will be nice to use. My bluetooth mouse would lag occasionally.

I just read my scheduled post for the 1st of January 2009 and rememberd that my friend Carrie wrote that. I would just like to point out that I did not write that and that every word came out of her mouth as she blatenely made remarks on my personal hygene and physical appearance. I do take a shower in the morning but when you wake up 10 minutes before class starts, sometimes you don’t have time. So I take one when I get back from Cross Country practice. She think’s she SOOOOOOO cool because she runs track, well I’ll tell you somethign, she’s not as cool as she things. Oh and in case you didn’t know who Carrie Thomas is, I’ll show you all a picture. She tried to start a blog here but got turned down because her writing was fairly… well… crappy. Here’s the pic.

Many of you remember this picture from yesterday right!?! Well I’m just going to finish up talking about it. You might notice that I have an external keyboard plugged into my laptop. This is because this keyboard is backlit and that makes it easier to type the more obscure characters such as \|][{}/.,<>?+_)+_()*^*%&$$#* and also numbers when it’s dark. I only turned on the light to take the picture you know. Also at my dorm I have a keyboard drawyer that I like to keep a keyboard in so I don’t have to huch over my desk to type.

I really want to get a second 22″ monitor to go next to my current one. That way I can close my laptop and put it off to the side, freeing up a considerable amount of space on my desk. Both screens run the same resolution but they aren’t the same size so it just looks funny side by side like this. Also there is a drop when dragging windows that bugs me. However to get and use another screen it will cost me a bit of $$ which I don’t have. I’ll need to get a docking station for my laptop too which will be the big money coster. I’ll just have to be content with what I have for now

I decided to show you a picture of my workspace when I’m at home. When I get back to college, remind me and I’ll show you a picture of my workspace there. Anyways, here we go!

Ok so this picture was taken on my phone so the quality isn’t exactly 30 megapixles :p However it does do a good job of showing you the conditions that I work and play under. Usually around 5:30 in the morning or some other rediculous time like that.

Moving on, you’ll notice that I have a large 22″ monitor to the right of a laptop and then a smaller laptop to the right of that. First off, YES I do use all those screens often times at the same time. On my laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad T61p) I run Windows Vista Business 64bit and Ubuntu Linux. On my Eee Pc (Small one to the right) I run Mac OSX 10.5 (hacked) and Windows XP. It’s a netbook so it’s got no optical drive and a single core processor but I use it mainly for the Mac functions and also for notetaking in class. It’s light and easy to cary while I leave my powerhouse ThinkPad on my desk with my monitor.

Enough boaring you for now. I’ll talk more about this tomorrow.

I was with Katie and she presented me with one of those fake knives where when you stab somebody, the blade goes into the handle. I found it to be quite amusing and started to stab her repeatedly with it expecting somebody to see and run over and pull my arm back only to find that it was a fake knife. We would then all laugh and fall on the floor from laughing and start rolling around. That didn’t happen so I was very dissipated. I do keep the knife on my desk now, handy for repelling computer thieves. I plan on taking it to college with me to stab my friends or to just carry around, maybe stab some random people and possibly get stabbed back by a real knife.

I wish i was Asian. AZn people are hella cool. I’m just plain white and i steal puppies.

Sometimes in the morning I wake up and I just go straight to class. Theres no need to wash my face or change or even look in the mirror. I look like this all the time in fact. It’s the cool werewolf look I’m going for. You know that awesome movie Twilight? I want to be the werewolf like Jacob Black. He was my inspiration.

I also think that i need cialis. You can look it up if you are curious enough. I just watched a commercial about it just now. It looks good, I think I’ll talk to my doctor about getting some.

I want a husky. they are so cute. I like furry animals. they are soft. i could rub my face all over their fur. i want to name my dog killa. i think it is a funny name. i also like spagetti. my favorite day in the DC is when they have spaghetti and meatballs. also, mashed potates and chicken pot pie. they are so delicious. it makes me drool thinking about food. i think i will eat soon.

my roommate armando is a funny fella. he is sleeping. i think i should pull a prank on him. maybe i will fart on his pillow. then he will have red eye, like from that pregnant movie.

I noticed one day a man wearing a pair of glasses. Now these glasses weren’t just any ordinary glasses. They were child molester glasses. When I saw them I immediately thought “Those are the type of glasses a child molester would wear!” That is when I started to wonder if he was a child molester and if I should go make a citizens arrest. However I don’t think anybody gives a rats ass about citizens arrests anymore. I remember when my dad first told me about them. I thought it was awesome! I wanted to see somebody do something bad just so I could go arrest them. I was only a kid though so I don’t think I could have managed to restrain them…

So I was looking through my blog stats and found that a lot of people were coming to my page because they searched for things related to needles through fingers. A few other people were searching for stuff like “Using olive oil on penis” and “Monster penis” put hey, there just weird. So I figured I might as well put up a post with the title “Free Porn” and then get a crap load of views by horny people trying to score some free porn. Anyways if you came here in the hope of viewing naked women or men, your out of luck since I’m not allowed to post explicit stuff up. Otherwise you would be getting an eyeful of MAN!

Speaking of man I really have the urge to go hunting, kill some small animals, and then drink a light beer…

A young family moved into a house, next to a vacant lot.

One day, a construction crew turned up to start building a house on the empty lot.

The young family’s 5-year-old daughter naturally took an interest in all the activity going on next door and spent much of each day observing the workers.

Eventually the construction crew, all of them “gems-in-the-rough,” more or less, adopted her as a kind of project mascot.”

They chatted with her, let her sit with them while they had coffee and lunch breaks and gave her little jobs to do here and there to make her feel important.

At the end of the first week, they even presented her with a pay envelope containing ten dollars.

The little girl took this home to her mother who suggested that she take her ten dollars “pay” she’d received to the bank the next day to start a savings account.

When the girl and her mom got to the bank, the teller was equally impressed and asked the little girl how she had come by her very own pay check at such a young age.

The little girl proudly replied, “I worked last week with a real construction crew building the new house next door to us.”

“Oh my goodness gracious,” said the teller, and will you be working on the house again this week, too?”

The little girl replied, “I will, if those as*!#!es at Home Depot ever deliver the fu*#’ng sheet rock…

Haha I thought it was quite funny. I too as a child loved to observe construction workers but I was far too shy to ever approach them. I never really heard them say much either. Let alone curse like sailors :p
