Maybe there is a difference between human consciousness and the consciousness of something else that functions, like a computer

Soul Theory
The soul is the only thing that cannot be modified.
The soul is the meaning of our essence. It is there, has always been there, and will not change over time.
You cannot describe the soul however. The theory of a soul appeals to so many because it is something that people like. It’s something that differentiates us from other creatures and things on the planet, however it cannot be proven to exist but at the same time can’t be proven that it doesn’t exist.
When we die and our soul goes to heaven, which beliefs and ideals, which personalities do we have when were there? What do we take with us? Do we choose or is it chosen for us?
Self as Choice à Existential
As we live our lives we build our selves by changing our beliefs, interests, etc.
