Chrome
I find myself using Google chrome today. I first started a few days ago on my Eee Pc since it takes a lot less power to run than firefox. Also it’s very minimalistic so it is definitely good in that respect since I’m always trying to conserve screen wherever I can. However there is no setting for a Full Screen browsing experience! That’s the one thing I wish it had. However I do prefer it over IE so far although since I downloaded IE 8 I have taken a little bit of a liking to it. Oh and no, IE 8 isn’t out. Well it is but it’s in beta stages. You can download the beta of it online if you want. Like IE 7 it improves on security and add-ons which is nice. However Firefox was the king of Add-Ons as far as web browsing goes. And when I’m on my Lenovo I usually don’t care about memory useage or power needed to run it. However I even find myself using chrome when on my Lenovo. In fact I’m using it right now. The one thing I really like a lot about Chrome is when you start to type in the address bar it automatically predicts what you want to say. I know firefox gives you suggestions and I love that but the thing is you have to hit the down arrow to select the one you want. With Chrome it’s already there, so when I want to open Google all I have to do is press F6 and then type g and press enter. I’m there. Much more efficient then typing g and hitting the down arrow. I just with Chrome had smooth scrolling too. Whenever I scroll with my mouse it’s really chunky and I loose my place. Get to it Google!
